  Optics for sensor profile

  WS-SIGNAL 15 optical  profile device is equipped with an integrated diagnostic system that provides an output indicating the quality of the rubber profile. This system is integrated into the transmitter, so no other measuring instruments are required. All visible LED indicators show the switching states. This enhances operational safety and is also useful for maintenance operations. The precise self-calibration of the sensors ensures consistent switching behavior across all door widths. WS-SIGNAL optical safety device is an innovative, high-quality product equipped with a modular connector compatible with the Hörmann SKS system. Diagnostics After the electronics are powered up, the system evaluates the quality of the rubber profile. The result is displayed as a series of flashes from the LED indicator light, visible on the outside of the profile: - 01 to 06 flashes: optimal conditions - 07 to 14 flashes: good conditions - 15 to 16 flashes: the safety profile is still functional, but operational safety cannot be guaranteed in the long term. It is recommended to check the rubber profile for possible damage or impurities. To restart the diagnostics, simply disconnect and then reconnect the power supply. After the diagnostic indication, the device automatically switches to standard mode, and only the yellow LED lights up when the light beam is interrupted.
