    IXIO-DT is a dual technology motion and presence sensor, combining microwave activation and infrared presence detection for the automatic sliding door industry. The movement (opening and closing the door) is operated by a microwave doppler radar, while user's safety is guaranteed thanks to the two 24-spot infrared courtains active for background analysis. Thanks to the unidirectionality of the radar field, the door closes sooner and is more energy efficient. Rejection of cross-traffic is also optimized to reduce unwanted openings caused by passing pedestrians.
